Phew! After a very lonnnnnnnnng wait India finally has an Oscar to its credit. As per the tradition and trend, it has got a mixed response from various quarters.
Kudos to the entire team behind "Slumdog Millionare" who slogged it out and made this distant dream a reality for the teaming millions of the country. We are indeed proud of them for the great achievement.
What I am personally really really exhilerated about is the fact that we managed to win an "O-S-C-A-R" without the involvement of the Oscar craved Aamir Khan!! All he managed to do was just make us wait, wait, wait.... and someone else brought us the glory!
Not surprising though is the fact that there are many amongst us who do not wish to see or accept things in the right spirit. So what if the film has not been made by an Indian? Does that in anyway negate the contribution made by eminent people like Anil Kapoor, A.R. Rehman, Irfan Khan, Saurabh Shukla, Loveleen Tandon and numerous other citizens of the country? Why can't people simply learn to look at the positive aspects of things and accept them humbly?
A sincere request going out to Aamir Khan! PLEASE have some "REHM" on us "MAN" and help stop the world making digs at you in this regard.

Dissatisfied, fickle-minded, hypocrite.....SICK!!!!
Well well!! What a topic to begin my blog with. This is dedicated to one of those very few people outside my family whom I truly admire, adore and love from the bottom of my heart. None other than the one and only King Khan, Badshah.......SRK.
Readers will surely get mislead by the title of this posting. The title and the first paragraph sound very contradicting. Well, the title of the posting is dedicated to a person whom these adjectives are more than appropriate. Aamir Khan.
“THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE” – This is an age old adage which adequately reflects a basic human disposition of always preferring what is on the other man’s plate.
Aamir Khan personifies this adage to no end. He has been blessed with everything a man could ask for in life – name, fame, money, brains, success, love, respect, a huge fan following…… But, he is one dissatisfied soul! In spite of all the good things which life has blessed him with, he just can’t get over his obsession to outdo Shahrukh Khan.

GO GET A LIFE MAN!!!!!
There are “many” things I would like to say here on the subject, but being a die-hard SRK fan, I would rather follow his footsteps and let intelligent minds reflect on this on their own. He is too much of a dignified man to even comment on what people have to say about him. This is one quality for which I absolutely love and admire him. He believes in just letting his work speak for him. To this many people say that he is just trying to be politically correct, diplomatic etc. But actually, has anyone ever succeeded in controlling others from unnecessary yapping? All said and done, one thing is for sure, for SRK -
“LIKE HIM OR HATE HIM, BUT YOU CAN’T IGNORE HIM!”
